Build a marketing list.
That’s it. The secret in a nutshell is to build a marketing list.
No matter what else you do on the Internet, if you don’t have a qualified buying list to market to, you dont’ have much going on in your world. The reason? If you don’t have a list, you can’t notify your readers when you spring a new product launch. You can’t share the most significant thing in your life. You can’t tell your readers about the biggest new craze since yoyos and hoola hoops, and you can’t share the value of today.
So, what do you do with a list? You give them value. You provide purpose and reason, you give them your knowledge and understanding of what business is all about. That is YOUR business. Whether you give the information away or sell it, the purpose is to share what you know with them. Their purpose for being there is to learn more about how you can help them. They won’t leave, they want you to help them more. Those who do, lack purpose for staying. Let them go. Send them with your blessing and welcome those who stay with a gift of More knowledge about your business and how you can help them succeed.
Have you signed into my list? If you have already, let me know what I can do to help you. What do you want to know?

Dawg gone it! That girl just keeps writing.
After a long conversation on the phone, I asked how she was doing with the money making stuff online, and she said she wasn’t sure. Sometimes, I think she needs a secretary to keep up with the details for her. I’m going to apply for the job!
So, I suggested she put up a list of ebooks she’s got available online for marketers who just want to make some bucks. Those how to things that everybody is busy buying so many of. She added a new page to her website at Jan Verhoeff with a list of all her ebooks. She calls the page Marketing. Whoo hoo! She’s got a list of ebooks on there, some of them for as little as $2.00 a piece. Go grab one, before she raises the prices!

Writing New Year’s Resolutions takes on new meaning when the New Year is right around the corner. Everyone gets in a rush and life suddenly becomes urgent.
It’s a Values thing. Everyone recognizes the value of living life to the fullest and getting back what we put in. The See-Saw effect of life is a balancing act. You give a little, you get a little. But, what if I told you it doesn’t have to be that way?
I was a young man when my Dad passed, late thirties is very young. Herb Person, my mother’s brother came into my life that year. He took me under his wing and taught me the importance of values in life. Read the rest of this entry »

One of the most interesting Christmas Gifts under the tree this year was an invitation to attend an Investment Conference in January. Everything is paid for, ready to go, all I have to do is show up with my checkbook and a note pad, so I’ll know what to invest in. However, as usual, there’s a catch.
I have to be ready to invest, that day. Now, I don’t know about you, but when I invest money, I want a moment or two to think about the investment, decide how much (if any) I want to put in the hold, and figure out the value or the difference of empowered exchange. Is it a viable investment or not? If not, what do I stand to lose? Can I get my investment back, if I decide it isn’t worth my time or money? Read the rest of this entry »

No matter what your purpose, the objective of a business online is to make money, become wealthy. You can’t do that without reaching outside yourself and accomplishing the impossible. The Secret of wealth? Often we’re asked to provide a source, and this is it.
God first, family second, and allow the rest to fit where it must. There is no other secret. The rest are simply concepts that fit into place after the fact.
When I began to put the priorities of my life into effect, I began to realize the balance changed. Nothing seemed the same anymore, and in fact it wasn’t the same. Everything changed.
What changed?
- As I put my life priorities into order, money became a non-objective.
- My family began to accomplish great things.
- People began to recognize my personal value.
- My work became second place, but more rewarding.
- I began to realize there were bigger projects for me to accomplish.

Sometimes the best things in life happen when we have no control over the circumstances.
Herb Person is/was my Mother’s brother. He came into my life in a big way when Dad died in January of 1983 almost 25 years ago. He simply took me under his wing and taught me some of the values of his life. He loved me unconditionally. He taught me that there are priorities in my life; A B C and D. He taught me A was God B was Family and the other priorities will take care of themselves. Period.
Herb passed in Eugene Oregon of a heart attack at age 85 11-4-07. His sister, my Aunt Bernice, very frail, age 82 called me crying that she was going to miss the funeral if I didn’t take her from her assisted living quarters in Portland to Eugene. I flew to Portland. Read the rest of this entry »
