About Bill Clarke
I was born in Helena, Montana in the middle of World War II. I mowed lawns and shoveled snow for spending money. Today there are two things I hate to do, you guessed it.
I moved to Denver about 40 years ago and spent my time in the business world either selling, or counting what somebody else sold, or somebody else made always hearing that you never make enough money until you work for yourself. After 40 years of hearing that, I am actually a believer. Yes, it is nice for the Bureaucrats to be able to classify you and count you as a valuable employee and a good bill payer because they use that to make money off of you.
They can sell you houses and cars and make two or three maybe even four times or more what the item you bought was worth in the first place. When you work for yourself you have to make a heck of a lot of money because they won’t want to lend you any for your house, or your car, or your expenses because, you have nothing to lose.
So now I play both sides of the fence. I work for Echostar’s Dishnetwork a lot and I work for myself on the Internet. I retired once for three years, and it was great for a while. I was always first in line when somebody said let’s go eat. I was bored to tears. I am the kind of beast that has to have something to do. I don’t think retirement is it, it almost killed me.
